Financial Responsibilities

Everything you need to know about costs and payment.

A Transparent Approach to Program Costs

At Lifegate Freedom Recovery in Sapulpa, we believe financial responsibility is an important part of lasting sobriety. While our program is supported by donations and community partners, participants are also expected to invest in their recovery once they are able. This balance ensures the ministry remains accessible to everyone while teaching real-world accountability.

Entry Fees or Deposit

There is no large upfront cost to enter Lifegate Freedom Recovery. Thanks to community support, we do not turn away individuals who cannot pay at the time of admission. The first month of the program is often covered through sponsorships, allowing participants to focus on healing during their initial phase.

Monthly Program Fee

After the first 30 days, participants contribute a modest monthly program fee once they begin working. These fees help cover essentials such as housing, meals, utilities, and recovery curriculum. Families and churches may also choose to help with these costs to support their loved one’s journey.

Earning Your Way Through Work

Our model allows participants to begin job training and employment after their first month. Lifegate staff assist with job readiness, resumes, and local employment opportunities in Sapulpa and Tulsa. A portion of each paycheck is applied to program fees, while the rest is set aside for savings and re-entry planning. This work therapy model not only covers costs but also prepares participants for independent living.

Financial Assistance & Sponsorships

Donations and sponsorships allow us to keep costs affordable for everyone. Families, churches, or community members can sponsor a participant to help offset expenses. In many cases, sponsorships cover the first phase of the program or reduce fees for those who have limited income.

Financial responsibility is part of recovery. Participants who refuse to work or pay when able may face dismissal from the program. For those with court fines or child support obligations, our staff helps with budgeting so they can remain accountable while in the program.

  • Do you accept insurance or Medicaid?

No, our program is not insurance-funded. Fees are covered through participant contributions and donations.

  • What if I can’t find a job by 30 days?

Staff will work with you until employment is secured. In the meantime, participants contribute through chores and community service.

  • Can family pay the fees?

Yes. Families or sponsoring churches are welcome to help by contributing directly through our Donate page.

  • Is there a refund if someone leaves early?
